Division Info

The Division is here to serve fencing and fencers in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania and northern Delaware.

If you need to reach the Division, please e-mail phldivusafencing@gmail.com. We’ll make every effort to respond within 48 business hours.

Referee Development

Qualified referees are essential to our sport at all levels. As the Division exists to promote fencing and support fencers in the Philadelphia area, it is also clear that the human infrastructure must be place to support strong tournaments. In an effort to help promote referee development, the Executive Committee has decided that Philadelphia Division Fencers who take an FOC referee clinic will be reimbursed their clinic fee by the Division if they take and pass both the written exam and observation within one year of the date of the clinic. The clinic does not need to be attended within the Philadelphia Division.
